You know, I would make these outrageously bright bold paintings- that I would subsequently pair back with a more subdued overlay.
I’ve realised that this is a metaphor for how I’ve often lived my life. Weary of the reactions of others, knowing that I can sometimes be too much.
And so I pair back that existence, as it sits under the protective façade of being on my best behaviour.
These bold pieces are a “fuck that” to that feeling.
Mentoring, Workshops & services
Feel a little stuck with your emotions and/ or your art?
The aim of mentoring is to create a safe, reflective space to explore creativity, emotional blocks, and professional growth through dialogue and art-making.
During our mentoring sessions, I will work with you to figure out your stuck points, and get you feeling free when it comes to your creativity.
Sessions are held at The Rundle Collective, Level 2, 58 Gawler Place, Adelaide, South Australia.
Sessions are 90 minutes long, and we paint and work through different themes specifically curated for you.
For both young people, and adults.
I’ll send you a questionnaire to get to know you and to get you thinking before our session.
Come with your questions- we’ll work through these together.
Session includes 1 x canvas to keep, plus some resources.
I’ll supply brushes, paint, oil pastels, lead pencils, an easel and other things- but they will only to be used on the day.
Tea and coffee provided.
Workshop: The Nervous System + Abstract Art
This is a curated group workshop aimed at people who are interested in slowing down and listening, to your body, your breath, and the quiet stories that emerge whilst being guided through abstract art.
We’ll talk about how the nervous system holds emotion, and how colour, texture and movement can help release what words can’t. Then, we’ll paint. Freely. Without rules. Just expression.
It’s not about being “good” at art. It’s about being honest.
You’ll leave with a canvas, some paint under your nails, and maybe a bit more space inside yourself.
This one is perfect for groups of friends, community groups and corporate team building.
$2250 for up to 12 people.
Additional people are $100 per person.
3 hour workshop, includes a canvas to take home.
Use of art materials, I.e. paint, brushes etc (Not to keep).
Each person gets their own instruction manual to take home.

It was actually my work as an Emergency Nurse that led me to reiki. I’ll never forget a woman I cared for in the ED. She was receiving palliative care and chose not to have medical intervention. Instead, a reiki practitioner offered her comfort. What I witnessed was profound - her breathing eased, her body softened, and the whole room shifted into calm. That moment changed the way I understood healing.
As a reiki practitioner, I don’t claim to know exactly how it works; only that it helps regulate the nervous system, settle the body, and invite peace.
Your 30-minute session will be held in the workshop space at The Rundle Collective. If you’d like a guided meditation on a theme that’s meaningful to you, I can include that as part of the session.
Afterwards, we’ll share a cup of tea and take time to ground and return to the world gently.
